I still do no think the race is a "scam," but I agree that the same one, or two at the most people, who are defending this race are posting under different names. That in itself seems very odd to me. I fail to see how or why the ordinary runner would feel so compelled to defend arace that has never been run before. That leads me to conclude there is a good chance all these "people" or more likely this person, is connected to the race.
If so, that person would have done more good for the cause by simply posting that he is the RD, or whatever his connection is and offered to answer questions.
I just don't believe any normal person would read these comments and then conclude they will run the race because of them, as some have said.
This is one of those cases where I wish wejo would do in IP check and then post to tell us if that is true or not.
