as far as individuals go if the take 5 like I think they should the the 7th guy in is Smeiles of Messiah in 29th. If the Etown men are left home perhaps they can take comfort that Dearmitt would then be the last guy in from 23rd spot.

GMFB,You really need to tone down the anti-Dickinson coaching staff stuff. Move on. What is past is past - focus on the future. They are one of the better all-round programs in the region, year after year, no matter how many posts you generate to the contrary.Dickinson has been known to suffer from some burn-out in previous years, but it happened in track. Because the previous T&F coach was a poor recruiter he would run the distance women in 5 events in a weekend conference meet both during indoor and outdoor. Often many of them would qualify for Nationals, but have nothing left in the tank. I think they had some top kids finish DFL a few times. Last year the track kids, working with Don all year long, had a fine year of development. Look what their guy did in the steeple.

You were wrong on this. Dickinson grabs second, Haverford 3rd and the Mideast will get three teams. Further, Etown finishes 6th - never really in the hunt.

The race for the individual spots was amazing to watch on the women's side. With three teams the last spot goes to 8th place. On the men's side it goes to 23rd if 4 teams and 29th if 5 teams. I think Etown gets in - yes there is a gap, but the four teams ahead of them are all capable of top 15 finishes (some much higher) and Etown beat some ranked teams at the Regional Rumble. Additionally, the South is certain to only get two which helps Etown's cause.

The women's race was incredible, how about Cronin from LVC opening up in that final stretch. 8 women sub 22, great race.

how about the Midwest Regional? 13 women sub-22...

It's too hard to compare times in XC.

By my math, If he finishes 18th, Allegheny still wins 60 to Dickinson's 62.

It's obvious goatmilk is one of Don's disgruntled former athletes...many people reading this thread can probably guess who he is.

And you are right, the potshots against Coach Nichter need to stop. But, "JaysNest," you're out of line too. That claim about the old coach was a gross distortion also. I won't even dignify it by listing reasons why- I'll just tell you that you have now successfully stooped to goatmilk's level. Congratulations. Just what this site needs- another anonymous slimeball with an ulterior motive publicly bashing a coach.

If you two idiots have a problem with any Dickinson coaches past or present, you should contact them directly. In the meantime, on behalf of any sane people following this thread, I invite you both to go fcuk yourselves.

Alright, and now that I have cooled down, I apologize for being profane. I just wish people would think twice before they insult others in this space. It's really unfair. And that goes for me too- maybe the guy that dropped out had a damn good reason to, I should not assume otherwise without knowing.

CMU- 15th

Etown - 21st

Any individuals finishing top 10 on either side? Either of the Allegheny fellows or Cronin or Lipman on the women's side?

wow, that is quite generous. the region is not what it was in 2007.

Maybe I'm a little on the optimistic side but I don't think its completely out of left field. If I'm wrong and they all get crushed then I'll take the heat for it but until then I'm going to hope that the region does really well.
