I see...so you CAN'T show me anywhere else you've posted, just name-call....that pretty much answers the question.

I have waited for years for the Mini Oranizers to have a Full Marathon in Downtown Indianapolis. Thanks Mini for giving this city such an event. You can count on several thousand people running this event. Any person who wants to see if they have improved from running your half, now can run again this september before the snow fall, then start training in the spring for the mini. I Love This Route. Pass the TV Stations and Historic Districts, High Rise Buildings. Upper Scale NeighborHoods, Just everything a town like Indianapolis has to offer. I love to run and I dont care what anyone says this is a good route.
Fist of all.....The Mini organizers have nothing to do with this event. Second....There is no such thing as the Lawrence Marathon. It is the Indianapolis Marathon, and it is held in the Lawrence section of the city. While it may not be the best course in the world, I do respect Joel for not doing what most of you can't seem to do....Bash another race.
The only other thing that I cannot believe is that Wejo, and the moderators, are letting this spamming of their board go on.
I visit this site from time to time. Regardless to who is right or wrong. You must admit this New Race has people talking. It has made me come to this site on a daily basis now sometimes 2 to 3 times a day just to read the blogs.

Donovan I will go you one better. I have never ran a 26.2 but decided to run this one just to be a part of the big event. It was getting very exciting reading all the letters about the new race, that I got caught up in the moment. Now I honestly think I will be able to finish.

I weigh close to 350lbs although I cant run in the marathon I will be there checking out the babes. (DayDreaming)
Can someone list the website address for the New Marathon?
Sandy/Valerie/Donovan/September/Jessica/etc. I too do not run at all but enjoy trolling running message boards for talk about this race and other Indy related minutiae. As well I am not at all affiliated with the race organizers but have inane details about who is measuring the course and which office in the city they registered with and some inside information from newspersons from newspapers about the huge buzz that this race is creating. Perhaps we can post vague messages to each other about progress in our training? Maybe one of you can start by making a backhanded comment about the Indy Mini or the Indianapolis Marathon?

Could you tell me your point. It went over my head. I'm not on anyone's side I just llike reading the letters.
Let me guess you are stevie tinsdale. well tinsdale you lost the blog. and you will lose this too. the new marathon will get 40000 as the military are doing half that. there will be no room left for whiners like you.
At first I did not think this new marathon would take off,but it appears they are doing better than expected. My sister was hired by The Indy Classic today. Indy started her with great pay. By the way I registered today, but I must find out if they will give me the prize money when I win now that my sister is working for them.
From what I hear they will not be catering to the Africans, We may just get a American winner this time.
For those in the Indy area or anyone that has recently run a marathon, have there been print applications for this race at any other race? have there been mailings? are there applications in any local stores? Just curious, and please list the race, store, etc. that you saw the entry. Plus, Sgt. Adams, are there 20k active duty military in the Indy area, let alone wanting to run a marathon? I don't think anyone wants to see a race fail, but the race website, the so-far poor planning and disinformation coming from the same person who keeps posting under all these different names makes this event out to be a fiasco. can a registered member of this forum who has registered for this race post a message? Tyler K what is your sister doing for the race? Bryan Epple how did you hear they aren't catering to any Kenyans? If the prize money truly were close to 500k how could they keep alot of Kenyans out?
The "people" who are sticking up for this "Classic" marathon stick out like a sore thumb. Who else on this message board actually uses names like that? You "guys" need to be a little more creative with your names so that it's harder to determine which people are the douchebags. So far it's been pretty easy. Oh, and try using a different writing style and story line to make it at least halfway believable that multiple people are actually getting fooled by this crap. Thanks. Just trying to make things a little more challenging around here. Other than that... this BLOG is pretty interesting.

We all know YOUR name.
Is it me or do all of these posts supporting the Indy Classic read very similar to those emails where I'm promised a large sum of money by some guy in Nigeria if I only provide him with all my bank account information?
I'd like to take this moment and coin the phrase "Nigerian Marathon Scam." Please credit me when this Marathon is revealed as the hoax that it is.
Because of this thread, I am going to be ashamed to post under my REGISTERED handle until this whole Indy Classic crap-show is over. I am only called hoosier because I went to IU. I want there to be NO CONFUSION.
Also, to the wierdo blog/letter reader(s) who is obviously in support of this marathon, the Indianapolis Marathon in Lawrence was my first ever marathon, and while not the best course in the world, it was well-run and quite enjoyable. There has to be a way to promote your race without smearing the name of the other one.
