This is true. No real athlete is dumb enough to do a "hack squat" or if they did, no one is dumb enough keep track of the weight and boast about it.

There are muscles for show and muscles for go.

Don't forget muscles for poo.
Hack squat is good for that shat.
I'm a million miles from my former glory of a deep 700 lb free weight squat. 3 plates feels heavy now. Hack squats are still super easy though and I went over 4.5 plates after 3 workouts.
I don't think your numbers mean much.

I have to give you props for being one of the few letsrunners who is willing to go public.
What is your personal best in the 100 meter dash?

So have jamin and Greg. Is this really a select group?

Ok, so you named 2 people. There have been coaches who have posted here also.
Yes, very few people have revealed their faces or names in real life. Most letsrunners are anonymous.
A person can post under 5 different names on the same page, and you won't know that it's the same person.
Christian Coleman squatting 445lbs at about 150lbs body weight:
HAWT
"470 LBS Paused Hack Squat for 1 rep at 6'0 and 224 LBS. I'm basically the strongest track and field athlete ever"
Ok...but you're not a track and field athlete. It's like me saying I'm the fastest U.S. president or fastest hamburger.
Lol. Not even close. Trae Williams (Aussie 10.10 sprinter) does 525....kilos!! So 1157 pounds!
Williams is only 170 pounds!

Same BMI as Matt London.
How dare you disrespect the unofficial world record holder for the 57.3 centimeter dash by a person under 6' on the third Thursday in November between 430 and 545.

Yes I did. Many times between 1988 and 1994.
Briefly got my deadlift up to 700 also.
No 5k time to report...

You can't spot reduce fat from a particular area...it just doesn't work like that.
Yeah I can. Works all the time. Just started doing them and i'm already noticing a difference. My power to weight ratio is getting better now because of it too.
sorry, buddy wrote:
470 is just barely over 2x your bodyweight. Maybe if it was a real squat this would be slightly better than average. You must be trying to intimidate skinny distance runners with weight that is over 400lbs, but the truth of the matter is, you aren't that strong (pound for pound). While in sub 16 shape, I was able to squat 225 for 3x10 honest reps which was at a bodyweight of 130. This isn't a peepee measuring contest so I'm not going to try to flex on my fellow distance runner brethren by throwing around my lifting numbers, because it doesn't matter. We lift to improve biomechanics and run faster. Next time try bodybuilding.com. Everyone on this site just wants to be faster, so the next time you decide to try to flex on a bunch of runners, at least show us something respectable.
Take note of foot position. When I place my feet at the top of the mat I can do 550 for 1.
Do you need a video on that as well?
Here it is.
What's the ratio now?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjF_FMVEG-IIt's tougher to place the feet at the bottom of the mat. Which is why I do it. And pause it without bouncing.
No knee wraps here either. Wraps add 45 pounds.
Looks like with wraps I would be over 595 with feet at the top.
I mean nice try though.
No track and field athlete in the world is doing what i'm doing at the gym.

Yeah and exactly why I said USED to lift heavy.
He no longer lifts that heavy because he's afraid of the weight gain now.
That video is from 2012.
And wow. One person in all of track and field can compete with me somewhat in the gym.
His max bench is only 350 for 1 though. I'm at 355 for 5 reps at my current bodyweight of 224. Looks like I have him beat in bench press as well as calves and leg curls. As well as multiple other things.
LIke I said before. Track athletes don't have to lift heavy. They just naturally have fast twitch muscle fibers. I have slow twitch due to cross country and 400 running frmo 1993 to 2015. I have to lift alot heavier than everyone in track due to my slow twitch muscle fibers.

He's a 100 percent Tren or steroid user.
He displays all the signs of steroid use.
3D rounded shoulders.
Paper thin skin.
Look at that pumped up varicose vein in his bicep.
Steroid glow to the skin.
His face is block faced. His head is block headed. Steroid users give off a block or full appearance to their head and face because the steroids grow anything within the body.
He looks 35 but he's only 22.
Sucks that he will never be caught seeing that the steroid tests in all countries suck.
Australia is well known for their steroid use in anything from powerlifting to track and field.
Melissa Breen is another steroid user from Australia.

It was probably high.
All current squat WRs in powerlifting are high. They are all above parallel.
Just goes to show the type of people that powerlift and take steroids. They delude themselves into taking the steroids and they delude themselves into believing that their high squats count.
Colemans 445 isn't impressive because he was like 4 inches above parallel. That's easy to do.
The squat must break parallel for it to count.
I never max out on squats because i'm usually doing other things before them and because I have a herniated disk in my lower back but here's what a full squat should look like.
Here's 405 for 1 like 6 to 7 inches below parallel.
No knee wraps.
In nike tennis shoes. In a cheap harbinger belt.
A powerlifting weight belt adds like 25 pounds. Squat shoes add 20 pounds. And knee wraps add 40 pounds or more.
Plus not to mention I have the worst build ever for a squat. All of my squats have zero leverage. My back angle is bent in half. It's easier for a guy with perfect form to squat alot or someone with a perfect straight up and down back angle.
