I have watched some of Soren’s stuff and my opinion is that he is less annoying than Ryan Trahan, but not as personable as Sage Canaday.
I think there is a lot of room in the YouTube community for more running personalities. Mountain Biking has several professional youtubers (skills with Phil, Seth’s bike hacks, BKXC and Singletrack Sampler). I see no reason why running couldn’t support the same level of high quality content online.
My only strike against Sage is the somewhat low production value of his videos. He isn’t a hardcore videographer, so I get it. His content and personality are great though.
Soren has some room to improve before I am a frequent watcher. Trahan, I just think is too annoying and high strung for me to ever follow seriously.

Sage's "plant-powered" agenda is a real turnoff. Not as obnoxious as the purist vegan/fruitarian nut jobs though.
Soren seems like a down-to-earth kid with some real talent. It will be fun to follow his development.

This. Trahan is beyond annoying, but Soren seems like a cool guy and is insanely talented. I hope he stops self-promoting on letsrun, but his video content is great.
I think Trahan's running videos are good but his other random topic videos are annoying. Soren is much more talented and serious about his running but his personality is a little stale to me. At least he isn't a dislikeable person though.
Ginger runner does way too many shoe reviews and is hobby jogger to the extreme. Sage has the best all around channel imho even if he is a little awkward at times.

Maybe he'll become our own Julien Wanders. We need more 21-22 yr olds running a 1 hour flat half marathon.
I agree. His videos have gotten so much better too. Soren against the world.
For someone "living the life" he sure comes across as depressed.
From a development standpoint I hope he finds a coach or his way back to a school program.
