The dumbass was trying to be insulting, but accidentally made himself look like a retard by misspelling "attractive." Now, no point can be made, other than that "Nideo Homo" is one stupid homo.
Learn to separate obvious typos from blatant misspellings. You can do it, just try your best.

Are there really that many people with worthless english liberal arts degress?
As I recall, we learned all the rules of grammar and syntax by middle school. And none of the professors or employers I've ever had, regardless of the subject matter, would even bother reading a paper that wasn't written coherently.
If you want to be taken seriously, you need to be able to communicate.
If people are so particular, find a grammar message board!!! As long as the message gets across, that's the most important part!! Typos happen everywhere!!

Taht's teh orobem . Somtemine teh mesessge gits arcos sna seomimtes it does.
Why exactly should readers of this board not be particular about effective and clear communication? An exclamation mark in the subject line where a question mark should be, just as an example, is definitely NOT a typo.
I am one of those that care about grammar and correct people on it. My feeling is that you should make an honest effort and the written word should read closely to what you intended it to sound like.
If people consistently misspell things and leave out words, that really isn't effective writing. I am not a very good typist, but I always read what I write and correct the mistakes that matter.
My least favorite errors are "ur" when you meant "your" ("ur" is leet for "You are"), "your" when you meant "you're" (you are just too lazy to write the contraction I guess), "there" when you meant "their" or "they're". Also "than" when you meant "then".
One of the worst ones is "an" when it clearly should be "and". As in, "I forgot my spikes an my singlet." It is not clear to me whether young people think this some acceptable form of slang and they just leave the "d" off or they really don't know the difference. Many definitely DO NOT know the difference between the ones listed above. I heard on the radio today that the SAT is being changed and a written essay portion is being included and the test is being lengthened by 45 minutes and the top score will 2400 points. The reason? Too many high school grads are making it into college without the ability to write at the high school level.
Finally, there are many, many dumb people on Letsrun.com and when they post something that only an idiot could write and write it like an idiot, then I have to admit it is fun to call them out on the fact that they are illiterate.

It's a running message board. Don't matter how good you sound, it won't help you if you cant't run!!
Yes, just like it doesn't matter how fast you run, it won't help if you can't clearly communicate your point(s)!! The fact that this message board is about running doesn't mean that sloppy writing should or will be excused.

. . . top score will _BE_ 2400 . . .
I do agree with your points though. Accidentally transposing letters or mistyping are forgivable mistakes. Using the wrong "there" or "your" is not.
Go find a grammar message board!
well the exclamtion point was there to get you yuppies to click on the thread, but everything else i just don\'t care enough to check my post. it\'s a waste of my time. everyone clearly understood what i wrote and that\'s the point. i can maybe understand if you don\'t know what the hell they are talking about, but other then that why not just let it slide? we can remove these assinine nit-picking replies that piss me off much more then crappy grammar. by the way i wasn\'t trying to be cutesy with my lowercase sentence, just too lazy to hti the shift button.
P.S.- I never got a chance to return that sweater Lois gave me for Christmas, I left the receipt on top of my bureau. I’m probably over the 30-day return limit, but I’m sure if you make a fuss they’ll at least give you a store credit or something. It’s actually not a horrible sweater, it’s just I can’t imagine when I would ever wear it, you know? Oh and I also left a button on the bureau, um I’m not sure what it goes to but um I, I can never bring myself to throw a button away, I know as soon as I do, I’ll find the garment it goes to and then it’ll, wait a minute actually could it have been from the sweater? Did that sweater have buttons?
Hmm. Well I should wrap this up before I start to ramble. Again good- bye forever.
PPS- You know what, it might be a little chilly in London, I’m actually going to take the sweater.
