Hasay ran 4:14 and 9:52 for 1500 and 3200, both as a junior in HS. Those are more impressive than Frazier's marks, but still a great triple.

4:39 and 15:55 are good, but it doesn't make him someone that deserves lots of chatter. Keep on training, Wesley, you will likely become an above average runner on a men's D3 team!
Just because you didn't make the team.

It must be noted that Wesley has a 3200m PR of 9:57 from this year

Okay, I'll give you that, and as a result give the nod to Hasay based on times. But this weekend's performance put an exclamation point on a HS career of exceptional championship efforts, topped by a perfect 5 for 5 wins in her senior year. Has there ever been a more dominant championship record from freshman to senior year over the 1M - 5K distances for a HS girl?
2013:
Outdoors
1st - 5K - 15:55.94
1st - 2M - 10:07.35
1st - 1M - 4:39.66
Indoors
1st - 5K - 16:18.01 (national record)
1st - 2M - 10:12.23
2012:
Outdoors:
3rd - 5K - 16:51.04
1st - 2M - 10:13.43
2nd - 1M - 4:48.28
Indoors:
4th - 5K - 16:46.15
2011:
Outdoors:
1st - 5K - 16:24.83 (national sophomore record)
3rd - 2M - 10:10.86
1st - 1M - 4:44.76
Indoors:
4th - 5K - 16:50.55 (national sophomore record)

I think it's clear from this weekend that Fraziers times don't really reflect what she could run in the 3200/2m or the 1500/mile if she was fresh. The 15:55.94 in the 5k is the best of the three performances relatively speaking but it had to take something out of her during the next 2 races.
What happened to Wesley Frazier?
Barely broke 18 today.
She went to duke.
Trying to fit a square into a circle is what big juggernaut programs do. It's not about individual attention and development.
The Meier twins are running. 90+ seconds slower than HS too. It's not the coach (even that has changed) it's the big school kill off cycle.

what exactly is the "big school kill off cycle"?
