Duncan's probably already a top ten player, certainly top two or three at power forward. I think he already has three championships. At pf, he and Karl Malone are at the top, but Elvin Hayes, the Big E with the great fadeaway jumper, was a great one.
He has four rings, not three. 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007.
That said...Spurs will win in 6. Spurs are the best TEAM in NBA history. They don´t have the typical american superstar. But they have a superplayer in Tim Duncan.
And who's gonna stop Duncan? Bosh? Birdman? Joel Anthony?
Furthermore...Kawhi Leonard is a very good defender. He is going to be a threat for Lebron. Lebron is not going to score more than 30PPG. Danny Green and even Manu or Diaw can help Kawhi with Lebron...forcing him to going to take contested shots.
Wade and Bosh are playing almost injured.
Lebron is almost unstoppable. But he can´t beat the Spurs alone.
Spurs bench (Diaw, Ginobili, Joseph, Blair, Gary Neal, Matt Bonner) is better than Heat's Bench. (Norris Cole, Birdman, Mike Miller, Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen, Joel Anthony)
And Popovich will outcoach Erik Spoelstra. Pop never lost a single NBA final. His record is 4-0.
Simply....the Heat is a very, very good team. But the Spurs are more solid AS A TEAM. They play a very fast and unselfish game.
Miami Heat is a typical 90/95 PPG team. Spurs offense is more fast and solid. 102/105 PPG. Also, Heat is shortsized in the paint. Points in the paint are the key of the series.
