Spurs in 6.
Spurs in 6.
Too old? Just like the Mavs were "too old" What with 34 year old Dirk and 38 year old Kidd and 35 year old Marion? Without Caron Butler who was supposed to be their 2nd best scorer? It has been proven that older teams with star power forwards and experienced point guards can beat the Heat. Spurs in 6
>Spurs too old
Average age in Miami heat: 31.6
Spurs average age: 27.9
idiot.
Not to mention that they also defeated the youngest team in the league 4-2
Do you even basketball?
And the Spurs aren't a matchup nightmare? What big is going to cover Duncan? Hell the Grizzlies had DPOY and still got swept. Had a third team defensive player guarding Parker and still got swept. The Spurs have players that can shoot better than the Heat (book it).
This team has chemistry and years under their belt (finals and playoff experience), something the Thunder didn't have. And the Spurs are not a run-n-gun team. They can be but they know how to slow down the game. Maybe you should search the internet for some of their offensive "plays".
And their age? Duncan is a big. He never relied on his speed. Watch him and his footwork down low to get hook shots. Or a classic bank shot. Ginobili uses his craftiness more than speed as well. Worried about them on defense? I don't think so. Their help defense is miles better than the Heats. Pop will make sure everyone knows their role and perfects it.
This team is also much better at passing than the Pacers. Once they get the ball moving, it will show all the holes in the Heats defense (hello Bosh, Allen, their PG's, Birdman - he only blocks shots). Watch for Birdman trying to get blocks only to see the ball being passed to the open guys.
Hard to wear down a team that has been resting for the past week and games are every other day (with an extra days rest between 2 of the games).
Plus any person would put their money on Pop over Spoelstra (sp?).
We will see how it goes but Spurs in 6 is legit.
No rust for the Spurs taking game one in Miami.
Can they keep playing without turning the ball over or was that a fluke game?
Duncan and Parker were solid.
Good overall game for James but not much over the last 5 minutes.

Wouldn't it be sweet if the Spurs took the series after a rant like this by Miami's leading sports journalist, Dan Lebatard, on the radio. His rants have become "epic" - I think it reflects more on the city and why this Heat team is so unlikeable.

Heat win the first 4, then Spurs the last 3 when it doesn't really matter, but it'll end up looking closer than it really was.

Yes, and of course all players on a roster are equally relevant.
Average age of Heat Big 3: 29.3
Average age of Spurs Big 3: 34.3
I really like morons such as yourself. Your kind is definitely one of my favorites. So much fun to laugh at stupidity. Oh wait, no, I am not laughing at you. I am laughing near you.

I bet that they could beat most high school teams as well. And those guys have an average age around 16 years old. So that makes it exceptionally relevant, no?
Oh, and no, sorry I do not even basketball.
Do you even house?
He is probably proving a point to other people that say they are too old. As proven before, they can hang with the younger run-n-gun teams.
But I can tell your just being salty about the loss last night.

No, not really. I actually hope the Spurs win. I despise the Heat. But even up 1-0 I will be surprised if the Spurs manage to take it.
All players on the rosters are relevant or else they wouldn't be there. Neither of both teams' big three couldn't do it without the bench/roster.
Except those 16 year olds are not professional basketball players you moron.

Thanks, I needed to see my daily dose of stupidity posts. Yours certainly fit the bill.

Double dose.
Nice!

Questionable.
Do you even paper?
Both teams ran the ball. Wade did have a good game. I credit Parker with a great game & miracle shot as the 24 sec clock expired. He did not turn the ball over once.
The Heat need to do a better job with Parker's pick and rolls. Heat lost game 1 to the Bulls in this year's playoffs and Game 1 to the Thunder in last year's finals. Again, they have not dropped two consecutive games since Jan 10th. The Heat will adjust.
"He did not turn the ball over once."
Spurs only had four all game, and that's after a turnover in their first possession. Heat will have to play tighter D than that to win the series. And not shoot so many 3s.
Are the Heat a bit tired after a rugged Chicago series and a long, rugged Pacers series?
