I'm not a talented runner and started running at 29. prs of 5:10/18:20/38:48 (I don't race particularly well).
I'm coming up on 9 months of injury. No running at all for 4 months and only limited running for the last 5 weeks. Like less than 10 miles a week.
It's a struggle to run on hills, the flats which don't exist around me are a little easier but I feel maxed out at my previous hm pace.
It's depressing. If I weighed another 50 lbs I'd kill myself.
