What criticism? There's nothing wrong with getting a backwards Z from Zorro.

Get out of your parents basement. Plenty of good looking girls in the world. Open up your mouth and talk to them.....just not about your 10K PRs and what type of mileage you're doing. Eat 2 cheeseburgers before you go out too, so you don't look that emaciated.
The US women kicked butt and brought home the gold, as did the men.
2. Sabrina Little, 26, Waco, TX, 152.030 (American Record, old record 149.368 miles by Connie Gardner, 2012)
3. Suzanna Bon, 48, Sonoma, CA, 146.785
4. Traci Falbo, 40, Charlestown, IN, 142.730
Men:
1. Jon Olsen, 38, Modesto, CA, 167.568 miles
2. John Dennis, 32, Takoma Park, MD, 163.255
Not hot. Very average. Not saying I am hot either.
Here's the winner done up a bit. Not bad.

Congratulations on the great hiking accomplishments!! I went on a hike yesterday with my dog and had a great time.
9:28.31/mile pace...pretty respectable to average that over 24 hours.
8:35.62/mile pace for Jon Olsen.
Have you ever tried to hike 150+ consecutive miles? That's a long f-ing way! It's not a sub 13 5k or sub 27 10k, but I'm pretty impressed by anyone who can run this far without their legs breaking off.
I think Sabrina is cute. At least we got pics so we could decide for ourselves.
I've not done ultrarunning, I don't think I could do what she did.

not sure if that response was absolutely necessary but that sure made me laugh...

And that doesn't even mention that you do it within a 24 hour period.
I know I sometimes roll my eyes at all of these ultra competitions but in no way do I think they are easy or I could do them. It's just a different spin on running competition. Distance runners that look down on ultra runners are no different than sprinters looking down on distance runners.
So she basically did the equivalent of running from NYC to Philly and then tacked on another 60 miles or from NYC to Cape May in 24 hours. London to Cardiff or London to Sheffield.
Not bad
I love when teachers fight for prep periods in their contracts and then post: "i use my prep period for speed work a couple of days per week."
I'm as liberal as they come, but really, that is such bs. Bust the teachers union.

+1 Very cute. Not stunning, but cute.
I respect anyone who can run that far, at any pace.

Quite awesome after 152 miles in 24 hours.
nope not very cute.
Now this is real ultrarunning to go through the full 24 hours, even the elites. Not until you run 24 hours can you call yourself a real ultra runner.
