Maybe you mean "does not matter" in the limited sense of "does not matter in terms of his fitness to coach."...you and 26/235 are either the same furiously dimwitted person or involved in an ongoing instance of intense mutual masturbation of a psychic sort. You both cannot grasp the simple facts that 1. Hadsell is gone and that not one person, including him, is arguing that this is unfair or wrong and 2. If someone says something that has the potential to f*ck up someone's life, then it is STILL AN ISSUE. Especially if it is a LIE.

One more time, no one is saying Hadsell was screwed out of his job. But when the team consensus is obviously leaning toward "She tried to screw him over out of jealousy and everyone knew it" then that is an undeniably relevant part of the story.

You are mixing up 'can be sued for' with 'can be successfully sued for'. In other words, the court might rule that there is enough information to let the suit proceed. This will require a legal response from Hadsell, and probably testimony under oath.

this dude was as shady as they come, texting and having relations with women on the team. to those on the team i say good luck with a new coach. always hard to adapt to a new system. to the parents of the athletes on the women's team i say breath a sigh of relief. to coach hadsell i say props for getting a girl far hotter than you should but come on man you knew at some point you'd get caught

Not so fast hunny. I am very close with the team still and there are no girls sitting around thinking that Emma is some hero. Everyone knows the real story and the real truth. They know what happened and their parents do as well. We saw how she acted towards him and how she treated her teammates.

Coach Hadsell did some things wrong but he was not anything like the person you and your little best friend made him out to be. None of us have ever heard those stories.

There is very little support for the "victim" in Toledo.

Not to quibble, but no, I haven't. I've quoted two statements you made in response to two different posts, but that doesn't matter because those statement can't be logically reconciled no matter what.

Let's say I tell one person that John Doe is accused of embezzling ten grand from his employer, but it doesn't matter one bit because he was fired for snorting coke on the job anyway. If I then turn around and agree with someone who points out that embezzling as a jailable offense, would you think I'd been standing too close to the bus exhaust or that my user account had been compromised?

The reason I am not quibbling about this decaying horse is that my spouse was in a remotely similar situation as this coach once, and by remotely I mean she did something she should not have but wound up being pilloried for numerous things she didn't. And it haunted her for a long time. THAT was a classic case of conflating rumor and fact! So, I really don't think even a coach who seems to think he is a 40 year old "B-Boy" and flips the hang loose sign for the cameras and flirts with his runners deserves to be completely flattened by lies, assuming what the supposed Toledo people here are saying is true, and I have an OK BS sniffer.

STOP making allusions to the "truth", there isn't any undiscovered information that wasn't already turned over. If Hadsell has all this evidence and "missing text messages", why wouldn't he have presented it in his meeting with HR? Or if all this is a "crock of bull" why wouldn't Hadsell have said that? Another question; how is it possible that everyone knows Hadsell so well but had no idea he was in a relationship with one of his athletes? Seems a bit conflicting, again. So many diverting comments to distract what actually happened.

Good luck at MAC ! Relish in getting second place last year because that's the closest you'll come in your remaining years to winning :)

Hi! Welcome back from your nap. How does it feel to sleep for at least two weeks straight?

It is very simple. The missing texts made no difference in terms of his coaching job. The texts that did still exist were enough to force him to resign or get him fired. He said so himself. In simple terms, EK lied about all sorts of shit and directly disobeyed her coach's mandate not to do covert training after she'd dropped to a suspicious looking weight, and purposely made him look scuzzier than he is since society tends to instinctively side with the woman claiming harassment no matter how much of a lolita she proves to be ...but his own behavior was his undoing.

Hadsell is a lowlife creep. That he handpicked the young women to be his enablers is obvious, the same that Charles Manson's disciples were all under his mysterious spell and kept sticking up for him, even many years later.

Hadsell has issues, but many of the young women on the Toledo team need some help. It is sad that they had no responsible adults to talk with, which is why he got away with what was doing for so long, and would continue on doing if he'd not been fired. The team dynamic is the same that it was, the same way he designed it to be.

I don't get this. Everyone who stands up in any way for KH, and it's not like they're saying he deserves his job back, is said to be controlled by him, under a spell, etc. These are adult women with the wherewithal to attend a university fulltime (or some semblance of one) while playing a varsity sport. They are not kindergardeners.

As for the whistleblower, the amount of petty backstabbing jealousy from her former 'teammates' is mind boggling. "we all hated her because she was so talented and wanted to go pro, leaving our suckass toxic team behind." She made a lucky escape away from your clutches, no wonder she waited until she could leave

Wait, if "everyone is satisfied" that he's gone, meaning that "everyone" is in principle siding with the departed athlete, why would her former teammates harbor "backstabbing jealousy" toward her? Do "they" crave being harassed too? Or maybe that never happened? And come to think of it, why did you put "teammates" in "quotation marks"? Wasn't she on the "official roster" at some point? And to consider the matter further, why did you also put quote marks around something that wasn't an actual quote? I think you have it "backward." But now that you mention it, how did a "suckass toxic team" make nationals in cross-country even without the departed runner on it? And finally, WTF does "she waited until she could leave" mean? Didn't she get her degree last "spring"? Was she "chained" to a "fence" for months "afterward"??

Good luck with the false sexual harrassment lawsuit and the slander/libel/defamation lawsuit. Will be interesting to read the depositions of her "toxic teammates".

Let me guess, hadsell has been constantly texting the team posing questions such as, "why would Emma do this to you guys right before the MAC meet?" "Why would she not want to help win a championship?" So the team then sides with him because he won't leave anyone on the team alone. I don't blame her for waiting, because it's a difficult decision to wrestle with, because obviously the repercussions of speaking out are right here on this board; a backlash. Also, how do you know Emma didn't want to come back for her 5th year anyway? No one old enough on the team has any clue that she considered leaving for her fifth year. Wonder why? Jesus.

And, get a clue. You all think you'll have your chance to redeem Hadsell with a lawsuit? Funny, what exactly are you planning on saying? "Hadsell texted me that Emma lied". Good luck!

If Hadsell didn't want Emma back then why did he ask Hansons to talk her into staying?
