Whats 'unbelievable' about those 600 times? Its an event rarely run. Also there are no official ARs in the 600. For a good reason.

Any particular reason you omitted Brie Felnagle's 8:54 from your above result. Not the most blazing time, but I was impressed by the ease with which Felnagle won the race. Should be interesting to see how she does over a longer distance at USXC.
