Disagree. I grew up with a ZOO of household animals. I'm literally a "dog whisperer" and know how to deal with dogs probably better than anyone. If you run enough miles... you will have dog encounters, and depending on where you live, more or less. 1 of 10 dogs is remotely aggressive, regardless of the runner/runner's reaction. I recommend pepper spray for that rare ocassion when all else fails.
Of the same type here. Love dogs but sometimes they just suck.
