Hacker has run consistently better this year than last, and Van Voorhis ran well through 5km and then suffered badly the last 3km at adidas. For most of those not in the top three, the strategy will be to go be successful role players (see the Bryne interview).
With six runners in that position, which you can group as two (Finnerty and Hatz) and four (the rest), they will almost certainly have the support depth to beat Michigan's and Indiana's 3/4/5 runners, especially with the head start of three guys that will give them a lead for the next two to maintain.
Mo, Darling, and Connor might not go 1/2/3 but I would be surprised if they scored more than about 10 points, while Michigan will have about 20, while Indiana has a better top two (than Michigan) but will not have low sticks for 4 and 5.
If you throw Mo in at 5 and Connor at 18 at adidas, they score 5/6/18/62/89 ~ 170, about the same as Oklahoma (add 9 to their 166). Indiana's number three in that race was behind

I would not be surprised to see Brill in the 4 or 5 for Wisconsin, although they will probably have him go out with the 4/5 guys from Michigan and Indiana
By the way, I just really noticed the youth movement at Purdue. Yes, they were 37th, but with a pretty good freshman at the top three and no upperclassmen, just getting a couple more strong runners, plus normal progression here and they can be a top-4 Big Ten team - who'd of thunk?.
