"The Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) or LIVESTRONG Foundation, s a United States 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides support for people affected by cancer, founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and cyclist Lance Armstrong. The LAF states that its mission is 'to inspire and empower' cancer survivors and their families.[1] The LAF also aims to provide practical information and tools for people affected by cancer.[2] The organization is based in Austin, Texas. In 2012,Armstrong's doping allegations became public, and shortly after Armstrong resigned the group the new spokesperson and sponsor of the group is now rapper Marshall Mathers (Eminem). The group now has been renamed the Marshall Mathers Foundation[3]"

Is this really true? What a sham.
Yes, it is true. The livestrong foundation did give some grants for research at one time, but stopped doing so several years ago.

Every cycling fan supports a doper and a cheater. CAT 2 and 3 guys dope. Name one clean rider. They don't exist. The associations and anti doping orgs don't give a crap about drugs only money.
Edvald Boasson Hagen is clean.
I'd wait things out until the new year...soon the holidays will be here, and the world will be distracted, and then I'd create The Livestrong Racing Series... That of course is charity based and has nothing to do with USADA or WADA...etc., create my own governing body, my own rules, my own alternative racing series...focused on raising money for cancer awareness and cures...and let all this fade off into distant memory.
Rather than take my ball and go home, I'd just go start my own alternative universe...he should be an advanced hobbiest at best now...so perfect time to create his own series.
h) I'd ask President Obama for a spot on promoting National Health Care.
The reality boys, grill cheeses, ladies and germs is that Lance was under the care of two licensed physicians and dats
all tat matt-ers!
Somehow I get the feeling that Lance doesn't feel he did anything wrong. He feels that everybody was doping back then and that, in that company, he more than proved that he was the best. He also feels that anything he did to prevail in the aftermath of testicular cancer is justified. Finally, he takes all the accusations by his former teammates not as the truthful statements of athletes whose hands were, in effect, forcibly forced, but as betrayals.
I think, given all that, that he'll continue to deny, deny, deny.
But I think that at some point in the future, he may decide that it's time to write a tell-all book. It will, of course, be a huge bestseller.
Please go to this page to find some quick facts about Livestrong.
I'd go with option A. Probably without the weeping though. Just get that lie off my shoulders and deal with consequences. "I cheated everyone. I'm sorry I lied for so long. That was wrong too. I don't know what else to say. For the record, virtually all pro cyclists are/were doping. That doesn't make what I did right, but the prevalence of doping in the sport clouded my judgement and made me think it was ok on some level I guess. Wish I could take it back. I'm a fraud. So ummm.....ok bye."
Everyone should know what LIvestrong does. You should not give money to any charity without checking it out. Ask anyone who has used the foundation. I know quite a few. They all say its a blessing.F-off haters.

Worse: everyone should know that buying a Nike LiveWrong t-shirt has nothing to do with charity, not even the half arzed LAF or Livestrong.org. It's livestrong.com which is 100% commercial, for-profit, for-Lance and friends.
The good work done at the LAF is done by volunteers. The LiveStrong CEO earns more than a European prime minister. Legal bill is 7 or 8 figure. Jet fuel bill 7-figure.

That's not "feel", that's "fact." It's not like Lance was beating a bunch of clean riders.
The doping will be but an anecdote in Lance's legal life when all's said and done. He needs to worry about the non-doping part being properly penalized, if he enjoys his freedom.
He likes the company of small blond women, but will soon need to suffice with 6'8" lonely but ever romantic cell block mates.
Seriously, if you think doping's the worst he's done, never give this guy a thought anymore ever, or get educated on who he is and what he's done. Get informed.

I don't know anybody who has used the foundation. What did they use it for and what did it do?
For patient advocacy, information, and support during treatment and for survivors.

I can look that up online. I would like to know what they did for this guy's personal acquaintances. I don't know anyone personally who have used the foundation.

That's not a fact. The percentage of cyclists that were doping was NOT 100%
