I will give it to Webb that the dewpoint was through the roof this morning. Some parts of NoVa were 76F. It is pretty uncomfortable for even stud runners.

This is awesome news. I am glad he didnt quit after the trials and between this news and the 102 mile week, I think we have reason to be optimistic.

guy runs the local 5k because its a huge participation race in the d.c. area, and everybody has been asking him all summer 'hey are you running the chick?'. so he jumps in and runs, and he knows he has to win, because the locals think this is more important than the olympics and has his wife bring his son, and everybody has a good time.
every top runner has a race like that in his/her area. its what we do.
there is a nice picture of his son and him with a cow, which is funny.

Raczko is the race director for the race, they are still friends. His family lives 15 minutes away.
weather was brutal, humidity was off the charts.
Not really surprising that he ran the race. He's done other local DC races in the past....
Look for some other road/xc results from him this fall.
His chip time is faster than his gun time. Is that possible without a false start?
