Big difference between shoes and a uniform bro. El G could have worn bannisters uni and the only effect would have been comfort. The thing I hate about Nike is not that they push technology with their uni's its that they give sat it will give an advantage of .xxx to make it seem more scientific

Supposedly, wearing red confers a statistically-significant advantage (at least when compared with blue). They studied some Olympic event or events where uniform colors were randomly assigned and found that wearing red had a marked impact.

For the Olympics I think the uniform design should take three words into account. Simple. Classic. Nationalistic.
With these I think they went slightly too simple. The US is represented by red white and blue and there should have been a better mix of the three. I don't think there is anything classic about these. Our primary national symbol is the flag. They should have added some design elements from the flag into the uniform somehow, but without going over the top.
I take these uniforms as another sign of the stealth conquest of the USA by Communism through the usurper Obama.

EXCEPT FOR "USA". Blue is better. Too many nations wear red. A white uniform with blue and some red would be better.

The shorts look WAY too long for distance runners, and the skinny kids like Rupp will look like a skeleton in those spandex tops. Not to mention how stupid the full-body spandex is. People are going to think the US speed skating team forgot what year it was.
