It is just another case of IAAF bullying a third world country in favour of a developed one. Remember what Robles said when they DQed him from the gold medal?
Lagat 7.15.06 at the bell.
Kenyans win counter-appeal. Farah back to fourth.
Soi reinstated!
Bernard will win the 5000m this year. Farah is a non factor and Bekele is a shade of his former self.
Interview with Choge on his 2nd place:

woot!! watched the video and soi definitely should be 3rd
All young runners should watch this finish , perfection of a perfectly executed kick , patience , poise , well positioned throughout the race.
Well peaked and trained to have the extra gear over the last 100 meters.
The duel between Soi and Farah was just indoor track racing.
Glad the DQ was overturned.
Lagat looked great.
Hey fcku off with the plastic Brit statements on mo and same for lag at. America is a country made up of people that have come from all over the world. The melting pot right? Well, give lag at his due credit. 37 years old and a fantastic race for him. For mo, he went for it, he is NOT A PLASTIC BRIT. he moved to the uk as a child and is a citizen, end of story. I am so damn tired of let's run idiots posting crap like this calling athletes heartless like many do to rupp, or plastic as it seems to be for lag at and mo. Just go run your 17 min 5 ks out there you dciks and leave these men alone.
Links?

U mad bro?
Ha.
Not much of a surprise here. Lagat after ELG is the best middle distance ever. I hope Lopez Lomong does not do something foolish and run the 5k this summer. He is a miler plain and simple.
From the youtube video, it looks like soi definitely should have been dqed. You cant step in front of someone on the last turn if you aren't clearly ahead of them so that you won't impede them. Had farah not put on the brakes to go around soi again, he would be the silver medalist.
Watching a few more times, I can't really make up my mind. Soi had almost enough room over farah to move in to lane 1, but didnt , so farah then came up on his inside. The question is: was farah moving up to hold his spot on the rail, or had he already been overtaken by soi and was then trying to repass on the inside and thus did not have the right of way...
Inconclusive evidence from one camera angle. I, like the IAAF, reverse my very official dq.
