When someone believes that, scientifically, the fetus is a separate human life, and has a right to life, that is in no way volunteering to take care of someone's kid. It never hurts to educate yourself on the issue, BTW.

If you are willing to FORCE someone else to continue an unwanted pregnancy because of your scientific beliefs, then I am willing to FORCE you to take care of someone's kid.

Adoption, there are many, many couples willing to adopt.

I am not blaming the raped here, but oftentimes the victims of rape will have a lot more to do with ending up with an unwanted pregnancy than some at-random recipient of a kid they have never asked for. Yes, it is tough to accept, and no, gogin through with the pregnancy won't be easy. But no one ever said it would be.

Well when you "cut it" in the first trimester (as happens in the vast majority of abortions), you are removing something which cannot survive outside the mother's body. How can you consider it an infant?

Great idea! I am sure there would not be a problem because there are a lot of less selfish people out there that would love to care for a newborn.

I would rather have a house full of children while driving a honda then an empty house so I can drive a BMW. I hope people do not have abortions solely for financial reasons.

Susan Komen Foundation is not what you think it is. People raised hell because the CEO of USATF made 200k a year. Take a look at the salary of the CEO of Koman Foundation.

Funny, a virus is also a living organism...so is bacteria. We have no problem killing these things when they attach our body and make us feel sick.

ANYWAY, to get back on task here, Komen is a corrupt organization that cares more about branding than actually finding a cure for cancer. Somewhere along the way they forgot that in order to find a cure, you have to spend a $#itload on funding research. SO they give a smaller amount to research and give the rest to salaries & "outreach". Stop worrying about your brand and start curing cancer, dammit!

It's no secret that the vast majority of their profit comes from providing these abortions. I can provide these statistics too if you'd like? No need to provide expensive prenatal care, quick and easy!

Why should Komen be forced to donate to PP? I mean, they are going to continue funding the "cause" somewhere, right? Shouldn't they have the power to choose where they want to donate the money?

I do not like Komen, so I am not arguing in their favor, but it seems odd to me that they are getting so much crap for changing to whom they want to donate.

Wouldn't the correct response be, "Komen, thanks for all of that freaking cash. It went to a good cause."

It just seems weird.

Plus, all of this Twitter and Social Media hype won't make a difference in the long run. It is a political argument that will have no effect on anyone's life. PP isn't going to shut down and no one really cares about Komen. People will still run the races and Komen will still pay their employees WAY too much money.
