Absolutely. Anna Willard/Pearce is over rated too. Phoevble never. Remember Phoebe Wright was a WALK ON for Tennessee. She is still young and maturing.
But Anna and Maggie (who to me seem like twins) are over rated. BTW I think their looks are over rated as well.
Both women carry extra weight. Is there a link to the 800 video?

I disagree with you. Going out in 26 to run 1:59 is not being in the race. Her pacing is fine, much better than going out way too fast as most 800 runners do. She just needs to be more consistent and faster.

They have good races and bad. In 2009 they blew up the 800m for American women and led the way for what we are seeing from our middle distance women right now. Why don't we all support them, cheer for them and wish them luck. I think they generate positive interest in our sport and if you think they look overweight I challenge you to go stand next to them and say it to their faces, you "perfect" cowards behind your keyboards.
