I was going for 4:22. I see that's what the O.P. guessed in his first post. I predict 2:25, 1:57

Andy Bayer will win easily in fast or slow race!
Blankenship is a threat both fast and slow, as he seems to have a very good kick (he almost won the Big Ten XC meet and might well have with another 25m of racing). He seems to know how to race on these tracks as well. I suspect that he would like a slower pace because he might want to double (he is also listed in the 5000 and might be in the DMR).[Note that Wisconsin is 'thin' in this race with freshman Hatz their only miler here (along with 800 guy Rucks - but he qualified for NCAAs outdoors by running a very smart race despite the slowest PR in his heat). Several good runners are noticeably absent.]

I hope Indiana just gets a guy to take it out in 2:00. Then Leslie from Ohio State can sit in second and win in the last 200.
Why would those guys mess around. To go out slow indoors and have to fight for position seems so much more stressful than just making it a fast race. That narrows it down to 3 and if I was a coach I'd be more comfortable with my guy losing a couple points by making it fast and getting caught then getting boxed or tripped running 70 second laps and finishing 8th when he's run sub 4:00.
