I agree. Coach Li has had success coaching only talent-rich Kenyans with his lower mileage plans.. It certainly hasn't worked for the American guys that have run for him. I think Lagat is just a very freakish talent and can get away with running modest miles w/ great consistency.
Few live in Mammoth fulltime. Mammoth is 100% LA people. People at Mammoth fish, ski, a few train, but they live in L.A. It's a 5 hour drive with never any traffic to L.A.

Brooks will get the same ROI on Bizarri as New Balance got on Jenny Simpson last year. Imagine paying $500K to an athlete that wins absolutely nothing? The only way NB cashes in on this horse is if she returns to the Steeple and medals at WC and Olympic Games.
Brooks signed her because she is a cute girl. It has nothing to do with her ability as an athlete. Same with that Shayla girl.
Here is my point. These 2 ladies are both middle distance types that didn't run cross because it was too far. Now will either of them run indoors? No. WHY? Because it is the same weekend as Brooks HS Meet. I will 100% guarantee that they are both at the HS meet instead of working on their own fitness. THAT IS WHAT MODELS DO.

Davila has run faster than her in the 3k-5k and was third at Nationals in the 10k and the fastest marathoner in the country last year. That is where Brooks should be focusing. Not on someone that Ryan Fenton and Mark Florian wants to bang.

Brooks sponsors both Davila and Bizzarri. What's your point? The two are not mutually exclusive.
