Of course he is, he's white.
Of course he is, he's white.
Of course he is American if he has citizenship. His story is not much different from Meb's who also came to the US at a young age or Mo Farah who came to the UK at the age of 9.
Yes, it is good enough for me - he is an American citizen and is an American high schooler - good enough for me!

Where did your ancestors come from?
As near as I can tell his family came here seeking a better life. I suspect they are productive members of society that contribute far more than they take. Most of the welfare folks are probably native born Americans. Legal immigrants are good for the country.
Could anybody explain me how an athlete can be allowed to take part to World Championships (Triathlon) for USA if he is not an American? Usually, it's impossible!

i will not believe he is american until i see a BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! LET'S SEE IT!!!
He doesn't need to provide a birth certificate as long as he doesn't attempt to assume the office of President. Presidents have been born citizens, a unique requirement that the law requires for the job. Of course facts and logic as opposed to emotional straw man arguements of liberalism are obviously beyond you.
There should be a thread on how a putative running blog has morphed into a forum for nativists. Some of the comments here seem to recall another era. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Know_Nothing
All white runners are Americans on letsrun.com.
Buster Mottram, Christopher LeMaitre, Alistair Cragg, Seb Coe, Kevin Sullivan, etc.

You need to call yourself by an American Dog Name. Not an Australian Dog name.
If you're American your name should be Cochise or Geronnimo, Pocahontas. Something like that. Not Dingo anything.
Own up.
