I really don't know if they have an Alter-G...I know the OTC groups have them...hell, Salazaar is the one who started the craze with them in the garage out in the one Nike house.
What college teams have them now?? other than Oregon...
I'm not really sure how to answer that question. There's definitely an issue with GRFs that isn't taken into account on the alter-g. Perhaps there's a neuromuscular component contributing to the success/failure of training on a G. You weigh less, so you aren't exerting as much force into the ground...
I still think its a good way to cross training (probably better than pool or bike as mentioned in the blog above?)
