Risk is just an awful awful game compared to all the real strategy games out there. If you have to roll dice, you aren't playing a good game.
Diplomacy is where it is at.

We used to play that a bunch, I don't remember enjoying it that much.
There was a game called Landslide which I don't think I ever knew how to play, but the map on the board was cool.
Risk, D&D and also backgammon (learned the last one and enjoyed it).

Very true, but I was referring to when I was like 4 and 5 years old. I thought there was going to be a big cannon inside, kind of like what you might find in a war version of Mousetrap.
When I got older, it was one of my favorite games. Have not played in years.
