Harrison is probably the biggest idiot I have seen in the nfl in years. Hell yes he is being targeted now.....because they aren't going to put up with his poor ass illegal tackling anymore - too many people are getting hurt from it.
He isn't a throwback, he is a piece of crap. He does lead with his helmet, eyes down to the ground. If it is close, they are going to call him on it. I don't fully blame him as the NFl has allowed it to happen and it is now a habit but shit man, learn from it. His last hit on the QB he again had his helmet down. I was glad to see the head ref of the seahawk superbowl game personally admitt to this years seahawk team that hey blew many calls in the superbowl. Said something to the extent, that it was embarrassing how bad his calls were.

I am Pittsburgh born and raised and I have been a Steelers fan since birth. I love the Steelers, but I dont hate Any other team. Why do so many people HATE the Black and Gold? Could it be they wish they were us? Could it be they wish they had six rings?

As stated the Steelers were handed the Super Bowl against Seattle, so shut up. Plus they are handed many other calls and games.
My favorite team, the Packers are also known to be given calls & I'll admit it. Especially when we had Favre, some of the flags against other teams were a joke (pass interferences when Favre would throw bombs down the field).
The NFL protects it's storied franchises.

They're 'targeting' Harrison because he tackles in a way that leads to injuries, which studies have shown (literally) ruin peoples' lives. They're the Steelers...aka the scum of the NFL so I have no issues with them being heavily penalized for playing filthy football.

If you were not so ignorant you would know the greatest dangers from football come from the constant "light" helmet hits from lineman hitting each other on every play. Thats what can cause brain damage in the long run. Those occasional highlight film hits are rare and they are not the real problem. The NFL doesnt give a shit about the players safety. Why would they want to extend the season? Only stupid people like you fall for that bullshit.
The NFL uses different types of helmets. There is one type that is supposed to be the safest. Why dont they require all players use that particular helmet? Not only that, when a player wants to use the "safest" helmet, he has to cover up the name. They have a contract with Riddell and they dont make that "safest" helmet. Riddell requires they cover up the name if they want to wear the other kind of helmet.

They're targeting Harrison (and other players) because they're trying to sell the union on an 18 game regular season schedule. In order to do that, the players are going to have stay healthier and be paid more. In addition, there is a greater awareness about the impact of concussions to the long-term health of the players. All that being said, why wasn't there a flag thrown on the Patriots for the Helmet to Helmet hit on Hines Ward? No fines after the game either? The only review going on was whether that was a catch or not.
