Doesn't matter what people think about the information that was released. What matters is that Bradley was legally obligated by the Army not to release confidential information. He illegally obtained classified information and distributed it.
He should get whatever the maximum punishment for doing so is, which I believe is quite a lot of prison time, not a death sentence. I think he'll be charged with something more specific than treason, though.
Not knowing the guy personally, I can't be sure as to his motivations, but I fail to see how revealing to the world that some US diplomat thinks Kim Jong Il is fat or whatever serves any noble purpose of transparency. It seems to me that the guy hated the Army and was looking to embarrass the USA.
