this is a 7/10 but still a troll.
the first major evidence of that is the Leee meee handle. an obvious reference to Eddy Lee. The second is putting up PRs that would indicate this person has the potential for a sub 34 10k but would need to work to do it.
and why would someone who is in their mid 30s, running only 4 days a week, who never ran competitive XC or track, be on letsrun to start a thread and obviously monitor the progress of such thread.
you can deny all you want, but until i see a race name and location as well as personal name and location, i am convinced you are a troll.
Wow I was just going for some encouragement and maybe motivate some others as well.
Let me see if I can address your questions.
Okay my handle is a reference to Eddy Lee. I found that thread very inspirational. I was hoping to have something that would stir me on like it did him and others. Maybe not to the same extent but something.
Yes my PRs indicate that it would be hard for me to get my goal. But I like to set the bar high. I hope others do as well in every area of their lives. I try to teach my kids to at least. However while the goal is lofty I don't think it is totally impossible. I give myself about a 5% chance at the moment.
Nope never ran competitively but do love running. I have played and competed in many sports over my years. A few team and some individual. Even competed at a high level in a couple a long time ago. Came to running late in life. But I love it even though I will never be at a high level. The thing I love the most about it is the simplicity. It is a thing I am going to assume almost everyone who has ever lived has done at least once. The barrier to entry is so low. At its core purest form you do not need any "products" and it essentially requires no money or other people. So yep I do follow running now and even letsrun. I became a junky for it late in life, even when I am not out running (like when other priorities place themselves in my life). Like I have said I wish I could run more often and surely would if I was younger and fitter.
As for personal details. Lets see how it goes. I hear there are some crazies out here in letsrun world, not sure I want them stalking me. I like that I can be a bit anonymous on here.
So I guess that leaves you with the choice. I just hope to motivate myself and/or others. Not looking for anything more than that.
