Talent is not simply a mile time. It could be an ability to work, to withstand workload, to sustain threshold. Several factors define talent, not just a faux mile PR. Great work.

To Jaguar1: Fantastic job in the race on Sunday! Very impressive, and I'm definitely now a huge fan. :) I have a non-related question for you. Have you had any luck getting anyone from White Rock to respond to emails? I finished second (overall) in the half, and can't figure out what the prize is. I'd tried to find this out before the race as well, but...no luck! No one will respond! I suppose that someday (if there is a prize at all) it will arrive in the mail.

Thank you and congrats on the 2nd place! I don't believe there was prize money in the half, and I didn't get to go to the awards cause of the media stuff (so no award for me either, besides the $). Hmmm, no idea who to contact. Yes, maybe they'll arrive in the mail. :)
