Pull out the damn plug and run the mill without power. I used to do that, running slowly, to work the back muscle groups. Then I'd put on the power and run up to the mill's limit. Think it was 10 MPH.
Moral: Don't go crazy unless you first find out how fast the mills will be. 7.5 will just make you crazier so you might as well stay sane.

No. This is coming from a patient who had a "manic episode" and was in this psych ward for about 8 days. Never a threat to others or myself, I voluntarily checked myself in here because I could tell that something wasn't right.
otherwise patients can sue the hospitals for injuries. pathetic helpless people.
Once when I was in hospital this woman pulled a long string of bogey out of her noise and ate it. It made me gag when she swallowed it.
So, if he can't control the pace on a treadmill, how is he supposed to control the temperature in the room?
It also has a ward where folks go to dry out and get their shit back together. Some are flequent flyers.
