I wish people would not be so judgmental and try to understand coaching situations.

The men distance coach from Akron, Lebadie does a good job whit what he has. He s there for only 1 year and one of his athletes already broke the school record in the 5k and 10k...

His boss Mitchell is a psycho that signs 7 pole-vaulters and 10 decathletes before giving any money to the distances....so......

Dennis Mitchell to Illini would be a great hire. Labadie as distance and Forrest as throws coach. They would win Big Ten's in 4 years.

Wendel and Mike are better coaches than LaBadie and Forrest, and they would both have DM in a chokehold within a week.

Winning the Big 10 in 4 years? That's laughable because to win the Big 10 you have to have strong distance running and Dennis would never allot the money for that.

Lets not blame lack of money for akruns distance area being horrible. They were 7th at the MAC cross champs; the schools behind them are even less funded (if at all). With the exception of Crogan, labadie did nothing at Ohio State either. Wendell can outcoach him easily (not that that is saying a heck of a lot)

Brad will become head coach at akrun when Dennis leaves.

At least Mitchell COACHES! Brad Hunt does no coaching. Vig won't let him near a stopwatch.

The $$ thing with Akron scares the truly good coaches away.

As does the thought of working with Dennis the Menace and the NCAA violation waiting to happen sprint coach.

of Steele. Steele will be the next head coach at the University of Illinois. Talks have already begun.

Wouldn't be the first UNI head coach to bolt after one year.

However I think you got your info wrong, Brad coached and coaches....

If he would get the head job at Akron, most likely he would do a great job, and have the upper hand in Ohio recruiting.
