One of the things that kills me is the sheer number of people who play around with computers for a hobby and then come around speaking like they are experts. Guys, just because you know how to install Firefox plug-ins and configure your Linksys router does NOT make you an expert!!!
An old Computer Science professor of mine said that computer "experts" are like expert car mechanics: many people tinker around, but out of the entire population that believes they are experts, about five percent (or less) of them actually are! Sounds a lot like the Letsrun community.
