Does the Black Eyed Peas song "I GOTTA FEELING" have the dumbest lyrics of the decade?

I was in this bar this past summer and this song came on and everybody started pumping their fists and spreading their arms to this song. At least all the white folk. All the minorities in there kind of had this WTF look on their face. It pretty much resembled this link: Fist pumping Like Champs. Granted, this WAS NYC.

It's kind of like Samuel L Jackson starring in Snakes on a Plane. I feel he was thinking something similar like, "I'm such a big movie star now that I can star in an absolutely ridiculous movie and people will still pay to see me". Jackson was also fairly successful at this.

I watched the whole movie, just to hear Samuel say, "enough is enough, I have had it with these mother f***ing snakes on this mother f***ing plane". Classic line

You nailed it dead on! I laugh at 25 year olds lamenting the music of today as sad, heck back in the '50's Steve Allen used to do a bit on the Tonight Show where he read the lyrics to rock & roll songs aloud as a way of mocking their stupidity (I assume he was comparing them to the "good songs" from the '40s).

Pop music is just mind candy, don't look for anything more than that.
