This song is on all the time. Are the lyrics among the dumbest, most meaningless pop lyrics of the decade? Really, they name the days of the week within it, keep repeating the same thing just to have a catchy tune. Pop music can be mindless sometimes, but this just seems to be a new level.
I agree with you 100%. The first time I heard it I thought it was some dumb kids who blackmailed a DJ into playing their song. And then when I found it was the Black Peas...... I was stunned and embarrassed for them and all of their fans. I never thought much of them, but at least I had thought that they didn't royally suck. But now?
Yes, a new low.
Below is like 90% of the song:
"I gotta feeling...
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good good night
I gotta feeling...
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good good night
I gotta feeling... (Woohoo)
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good good night
I gotta feeling... (Woohoo)
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good good night "
