Hair loss at 21 what stuff to use

Started propecia at 29 and it regrew hair. Absolutely zero side effects after 2 years. Also got a laser brush (Sunetics) and that may help also. Laser brushes may seem like some scam, but the science is real and there are many people that swear by them - but since I did that after starting Propecia, I don't know how much of a difference it made.

I started thinning at 18 and started (generic - online pharmacy) propecia at 23 doing the 1mg per day dosage reccomended by merck. I had horrible side effects (limp noodle, and even felt that it did affect my being able to exercise... always felt sluggish and tired) and had to quit after about 6 months. Started again at 25 using a lower dosage (1 mg EOD). The benefits are the same (noticably thicker hair) and no side effects after two years. The clinical trials only studied the one milligram dosage taken everyday without taking into consideration age, level of hair loss, and speed of progression. My advice would be, if you do decide to take the drug, to figure out on your own what dosage is right for you. If you do see benefits, do not stop using becuase you will end up much worse than before you started.

I read your texts twice and learned a big deal here. I am happy to hear that this is not scam. But like some said i need to think twice, i did and i am going to buy a bottle of pills and a lotion when my birthday comes around and start then.

I am not going to start right now yet and maybe write down a bit about how i feel now (sexuallly, etc...) and see how that goes when i use the product.

I guess hope i won't lose to much hair on those few months.

I am willing to pay, like a phone bill to keep those nice bush of hair. It is my trade mark. I can see how some people look good with a shaved head but it just is not my thing. I love to wake up with my hair and do it in the bathroom.

Maybe i will post an update in a few months for those to follow on how this treatment goes with me.

BOTTOM LINE: If you have enough money you can fix this problem. You don't have to live with it.

I would quit at 20 and see if the hair loss stops, if you are successful than you can gradually build up to 21,22 and even 23 miles if you like but further is not likely to benefit you much.

Hey just so you know, finasteride is the same thing as propecia and costs way less. Just buy the pills and cut them into the proper size. (Finasteride is used to prevent prostate cancer but it's chemically the same as propecia).

My question however is, where is the hair loss? When I went to my dermatologist, for my hair loss, she said that generally, Propecia works only for the back/crown of the head, and not actually the receding hairline. I'm not personally losing hair along the back of my head, but the front is going back fast. I have taken Propecia irregularly for the past year, but felt as though the effects weren't worth the 100+ dollar a month purchase.

Not true, it works for all areas of the head. She's saying that because 1) the trials were on the crown of the head and that's where the FDA approval is for, and 2) she's stupid.

And the generics from India (and other countries) are very cheap; and as this is a very cheap drug anyway they are unlikely to be fake.

What stuff to use?

Clippers, no guard.

Shave your head, grow a beard, wear a baseball cap when you’re outside.

I started losing my hair in my mid 20s and it became obvious at 30. At that point I shaved it close.

As a thin guy, hair would be preferable, I looked good in college. The shaved head does make me look older, more serious even, so there is some upside.

For men, confidence is probably more important than looks anyway. Sure it would be nice to have it all, but what are you going to do.
