What is the best haircut style for men? and how much should a man spend on a haircut?

1. I shave my head daily. Everyone agrees that I am a badass.

2. No one can tell the difference between a cheap haircut and an expensive haircut. Take the Gahan pic to Supercuts.

3. Blue collar runners cut their own hair with clippers or shave their heads. Yuppie runners pay for haircuts.

I have extremely thick hair and if it gets under 2 inches it stands straight up. I basically have to have a long-ish cut and slick it back with gel. I wish I could get a shorter cut and part it to the side (ivy league style), but my hair just won't do it.

There is no such thing as a cheap haircut. That being said you don't have to spend a fortune. I used to go to my wife's salon and spend $40 but found a good traditional barbershop that charges $20, and I can get a straight razor shave there too.

$14 for the cut...maybe $17 or $18 total with tip.

This probably true. I guess I could be considered a yuppie runner since I do more than just run--I have a real job etc and in some circles I would be considered a yuppie.

Until a few years ago I went to the barber shop and got basically a boys regular every 3-4 weeks. But I got sick of waiting in line and the guy I was going to was kind of a hack so after hearing me complain one time, my wife scheduled me to go to the "salon" where she gets her hair done.

It was the greatest thing ever. The woman there only charges me $15...I usually pay $18 with tip...and she does SUCH a better job. It looks good and grows in so much better. I schedule an appointment with her every 4th Saturday morning.

Plus don't underestimate having a really hot woman play with your hair for a half hour every once in a while. It's very theraputic.

At least $500. Gotta look good for the ladies.

Get a buzz cut and shave twice annually:

January and July.

The rest of the year let it grow.

Bald. You don't need a haircut. It will happen to most of you in time.
