Ha! Me, too. Both families were in not happy that I'd even think about racing, but it was kinda like the championship race. I was staying about 3M from the start/finish, so I dropped off my racing flats around the corner, and headed out for a long run that morning to "settle my nerves". Ran to the race, ran the race (top-10, yea!), and ran home for the cool-down, and no one knew (except for the wedding guests that ran the race with me!).

i don't really think that I looked forward to it, I definitely was nervous, but I'll be honest in saying it was one of the happiest days of my life. I don't remember being stressed at all that day. Think about it. All your friends and family are there. Lots of booze. people bring you free stuff. then you get driven away to some hotel and get laid.

The reality is when it comes to the wedding day all you got to do is chill out an enjoy the ride. Everyone is there to have a good time.

Just pick two or three things that you really want to happen that day, let the wife and others plan the rest. Mine was open bar, one of my favorite foods was one of the dishes, and later in the night we cut the DJ and my friends band took over. Alcohol + band + good food helps make everyone have a good time, then its a big party.

Been engaged since 2003...yeah...looking forward...

Where is your wedding and when?

I'm currently engaged and getting married in less than a month and yes I am looking forward to my wedding. First off my fiance and I have decided to not have premarital sex so... I'm looking forward to that part. It's also going to be really cool to see so many of my family members together in the same place. It's going to be an awesome day. Yeah its a bit stressful planning a wedding but whatever you get lots of presents.

Weddings repulse me & if I can't convince her to get eloped then the wedding may never happen. I've mentioned this to past girlfriends & they just laugh it off. I have never told them I was dead serious.

Ohh yes, that's right it's all about her isn't it. OK, if she really really wants a wedding & I can booze up, & keep the wedding very small with no reception I may consider.

smooth, classy, and well worth it dude, i respect that. one piece of advice: don't get scared once you see your wife fully naked and ready to go. don't make it an amature hour moment...

Not really a wedding person, so know. 4ever after is great though.
