German vs Webb.... is this the first time they'll be going head to head? What a showdown!

are the start times eastern or pacific times?

Heat 1: An NCAA heat with the exception of Myers and Jefferson. Both have to be pleased with the draw.

Heat 2: It's hard to imagine that Lomong and Lukezic didn't burst out laughing when they saw the start list. What more could they want? It's theirs to blow.

Heat 3: All four at-large will come from here, assuming everybody listed actually starts.

Heat 4: Manzano will get to the lead and try to keep it as slow as possible from there. The question is who will not let him get away with that. Pifer and Jennings look like the only two.

Exciting stuff, can't hardly wait.

With no guarantees on getting in and heat 3's contenders, I say wheating comes out of it with a huge and long overdue pr and nation leading time.

Oregon is right next to the Pacific Ocean, in the west.

It is awesome to see Div.3 Williams's Mack Chaffee in there after he just qualified at Boston Twilight.

That third heat is a doozy. How did that happen? I don't know if Wheating is going to run, but there are going to be some guys knocked out that you would expect to be in the finals. I mean, Sherer, Wheating, Leer, Webb, Fernandez, ...?!! Tremendous.
