Ummmmmm. I thought it was a clever and hilarious reference to X-Files... Mulder/Scully.
I said last year that Wheating looked to me like a kid who had just learned how to drive and someone gave him the keys to a Lamborghini. He had no idea what to do with it yet, and was timidly trying not to grind the gears as he got comfortable with a world-class piece of machinery.
Still not sure this kid realizes what he may have under the hood, but he's starting to look like he might be ready to take it out on an open highway and stretch it out a bit and see what she's got.
And when he does...look out.

Excellent analogy. This completely sums up my thoughts on Wheating. He mentioned going to Europe this summer as a possibility. He needs to get in more races where he basically can't run to win so he can find out what he is capable of. 1500 as well.
