I noticed that as well. I usually don't put much stock in running form but she clearly was using the least energy at the opening pace-Hall flails a lot, overstrides a bit and has a weird body tilt.
Since when is 4:00 sub 4?
Good thing Jennings didn't run, he would have got his ass kicked with that leaning backwards running style !
Ouch, American professional runners sure suck. 4 flat, that is all they could come up with. There was a $10,000 bonus. I thought these guys needed to eat.
Last year an East African runner won on this same course in 4:09 so there goes that argument. He got the 10k bonus and will be eating well.

I know that after Tollefson took so much time off due to the injuries and subsequent surgeries a year and a half ago or so when she came back she felt like her form had gone to hell more than her fitness, guess she's still in that boat.
Actually it was a new course this year. Theoretically it should have run much faster...straight shot down Nicollett Mall.

Probably should watch the video before you speak. 3:59 into the wind on a road course is not 3:59 on the track, but you knew that smart guy.
I read David Torrence got caught in a mix-up after the race and ended up in jail? Is this true?
