...Two NCAA Champions, Two All Americans... Two Fast Young Guns.
Oregon has risen again, and is still rising...
Anyone impressed with how efficient Centrowitz runs? His move on the backstraight was done with relative ease. Great performance.

Babcock ran 4:33 for a mile in high school. She has run 4:17. They also have Follett and K.Campbell also at 4:18.XX. Should be a very interesting Pac-10; Blood ran 4:14 last year, but didn't do it until the week before the Pac-10s.
None of them can run with Centrowitz, but should be a good battle for 2nd and 3rd.
I believe that was a 1600 for Babcock, no? Still very impressive and she's showing no signs of slowing down. Seems that for every 1 duck there are at least 2 huskies that can match or better their times. I agree, it should be a very interesting PAC10 meet.

Reminds me of a guy with initials GF. Should be some very interesting races between the two of them in the future.
Is Centrowitz and Centrowitz now the fastest father /son miling duo in history?
Got to think Kip Keino / Martin Keino were faster, though I don't know the times.
I believe Martin ran about 3:33 and his dad ran 3:34.9 at altitude in Mexico City in 1968. I don't know if he ran faster than that mark at sea level (you would think so! but you never know)
I love Babcock! I think some of the girls like her have been over shadowed by the all the awesome freshman male runners out there. I can just totally see Babcock making steady progress and improvements every year. I don't see her as some girl who will just bust out a big time and that's it. I also think Kosinski is pretty solid too even though she hasn't had some big break through yet. I bet she Kosinki could run a pretty awesome 5000 on the track.

That was the fastest Kip ever ran over 1500m.
