Cloud computing might make sense for Letsrun to deal with the spikes in traffic associated with NCAAs, Boston, Olympics, etc- Provisioning on-demand servers that would reduce the likelihood of site crashes/delays. I think Rackspace Hosting, Internap, and Terremark are some data center and managed hosting providers that may provide this.

LR is low traffic with only has a few text pages and a text forum. A cheap $10/mo Linux VPS would do. We could help you adjust the Apache thread counts, etc. for something as simple as what you have.

Not all trafiic is to the browser/Javascript. GA, etc. is a gimmick and misrepresents what it does. VC's dismiss GA, etc. VC's have their own engineers verify traffic claims.

A script like GA from by a trusted source like Google is not a gimmick.
