Well in that case McNeese should be ranked 11th.

i must second the poster who said who cares the south sucks. this is going to be the easiest region in the country.
John Kosgei is leaving LSU.
For where? that knocks LSU down if they can't reload with another Kenyan (or two)
what about the freshman who was 3rd on A&M's team last year?
texas will be close, they know have a winning mentality and will do better than people expect.
But as you said this is the easiest region in the country arkansas will walk it in and be the only team to do any good at nats and even that is an if.
What about on the women's side????
Kyle Miller has run a 3:41 1500 this past year and has 3 years experience running the NCAA meet. Jake Morse has run 4:00 and and 8:30 steeple and could be vying for the individual title.
even though it is an easy region arkansas still can't walk it in or they're going to be beat by the aggies.

Oklahoma State.
Jeezus Christ, can anyone confirm this, this honestly gives OK State a shot to knock off Oregon.
LSU will not release him. So OK state does not get him.
Rumor has it Lamar is picking up a couple New Zealanders, watch out Texas and Texas A&M there's a new best Texan team in town!
No one is going to shoot their mouth off like that unless they are from Lamar.
Why say rumor has it? Just say what is known.
Then Predictor Man can update the predications so they are more accurate.
Vig will be the new head coach at Virginia just in time for his team to not be very strong. They will not make NCAA's this year.
1500s don't necessarily equate to Cross. Also, isn't Morse a much better track runner than cross country. I had always heard those guys were a lot better on the track than in cross.
So kpeezy, correct me if I'm wrong, is this the top 7 for next year?
Stephen Scullion (3:51/8:31/14:32) SO. NIR
David Rooney (1:58/4:02/15:00) FR. IRL
Jordan Neil (3:49/8:36/15:22) SO. NIR
Mike Dyer (1:51/3:57) SR. NIR
Johnathan Koenck (4:03/8:58) SO. LA
Kenny Pierce (8:45) SO. LA
Alasdair Russell (4:03/8:58/15:29) SO. ENG
i think mcneese could surprise a few people and look at finishing top 8......all ifs and buts though
That would be strange if Vig left Texas but I guess that it would be an appropriate time - when most of his stars are gone and they will be hard pressed to make nationals. Good way to do things. Get out when your roster is depleted so you look like an amazing coach.
Johnny Mac did it at Arkansas this year. Ron Mann did it at NAU several years ago. Who else has done that in recent memory?
He had one amazing class of in state recruits. He got all the top instate guys except Hernandez and brian sullivan, both of whom ended up there anyways! But after that it just seems like he couldn't get it done. Can't believe he missed out on scott macpherson and colby lowe. I thought hew would have got at least one of those guys.
Predictor man, that looks realistic for our team. I give you kudos for looking up all these times, great job! For the kpeezy loser, get a life, and quit trying to down other people's rep.
