Manna
I think the question refers to a simple food source. One thing, not a diet similar to what a pet would live on.
I believe there is only one known type of plant that contains all the essential amino acids. I would go with that. Amaranth.
And water of course.
But does Amaranth contain protein? Your brain will shrivel and die without it. Eggs win - they contain every vitamin and mineral as well as protein and carbos to sustain life.
No. Amino acids have nothing to do with protein. Nothing at all.
Liver.
Beer and Doughnuts.
If you eat them together they only count as one food.
Okay, I want to second pizza. With the correct toppings, you could get all four food groups working for you.
Pepperoni pizza

No kidding. Bring lots of TP too.
lembas
oatmeal...
I read in a trivia column a long time ago that the correct answer is not milk, as many would guess, but potatoes

I don't know if amaranth is a complete protein, but quinoa, which I was going to suggest, definitely is. Amaranth is definitely a good thing to eat -- good thing the Spanish didn't completely succeed in eliminating them after conquering Central and South America.
Everything PIzza. Because you can put everything on it.
I agree...Mac and Cheese baby!!!!
My second choice would be blue berries.
I will go with honey.
the answer is pizza. pizza has many topping possibilities. the cheese is dairy, the dough is carbohydrate, the toppings can be protein or vegetable or even fruit.
Top Ramen. It's already been proven on every college campus in the world.
Whole milk. It has everything you need. Fat, carbohydrates, and protein, as well as some calcium, and of course water. Mother nature designed it to be able to keep a creature alive for a long time. If all that was in your diet was whole milk and you just ran and ran and ran, you would be a happy and healthy individual with a true iron stomach.
