Ooh, ooh! A cat fight between all the snobby kids who can't cut it at D1.

this is hilarious
It takes a forward -looking kid to choose a school that will give him/her a better education, than a run of the mill UW-X degree and 4 years of binge drinking.[/quote]
The binge drinking is purely voluntary.
Whoa easy cowboy, I wasn't trying to insult your precious WIAC school. It just seemed like you tore another poster pretty well and it just came off as a tad arrogant.
Just a note on the "run of the mill UW-X degree" comment...
UW-LaCrosse has one of the better sports medicine programs in the area
UW-Whitewater is consistantly ranked one of the best business schools in the country (all divisions)
Don't know enough about the other schools to comment, and I'm not saying that the education at all of them is great, but it is certainly respectable.
As a former IIAC runner I am coming out in support of the WIAC here.
To all the haters, the brutal honesty of the stopwatch is tough to deal with, I know. But life goes on, or mine has at least.
The UW-LaCrosse womens track team services guests as well as any team in the country. I should know, I did the distance medley team a few years ago, with a baton in hand the whole time.
We did an evening event and did an a.m. the next day.
Great hosts.
Why dont you all stop arguing. You run for DIII. Your not good enough as it is.

Hey there big guy, don't know if you know what a time stamp is, but this argument has been over for 7 months. So... you fail.
hey big guy,
Its called a forum because it can be commented on someones remarks. And in forums, they are meant to stay around, so if someone has something to comment, they can. If not, they would erase a thread two weeks after it was created, which would make anything you guys talk about pointless. Which of course, most of it is.
WIAC ain't easy.

That is interesting. That probably is the reason why when they changed the team name from Indians in the early 90's, they considered strongly naming the team the "Cumchuggers" and there was no consideration of using a different name for the mens vs. womens teams.
The old DIII divide -
Is it for small expensive schools that CAN BE (not necessarily are) academically demanding
*OR*
Is it for schools that simply do not give out scholarships?
you never hear these arguments at the DI level, where there are some small schools that are still competitive e.g. Georgetown.
bad coaching decisions?
