i've heard the chico state guys don't even run. they just watch movies about running and listen to workouts, motivational speeches by Gary Towne, sounds of running, etc on headphones while they sleep. Apparently Scott hasn't run an easy mile since high school. he just races. works out i guess.

its true we dont run at all. except on race days. every other day we just listen to gary talk, and watch running movies, and read running books. then at night we do infact listen to running noises. it seems to be quite effective...
i dont currently run for gary, but if he told me that running through shit would make me faster i would do it

wow thats really cool. thats as of 6/24/2004 though. im curious if anyone in the past 3 years has run raster scott. i tried to google up some single age road racing records but it's kinda difficult to locate.
