I wear a 13 in every shoe I get, could maybe go to a 12.5 for a racing flat and the 12 universe I tried on was way to big. I fit into the 11 Universe but I would have been better in the 11.5 (only size we didn't have). A fellow employee tried one on too and went down a whole size. Then a third person tried them on, all of us normally wearing different sizes, and he had to go a size smaller as well. Thats all I know.
Just did my long run in them (14mi). Feel great as a full time shoe.
We have a pair of them in the shop where I work. (not the 3's) They are a decent spike, I dont know if the wave does anything though.
That sounds like you got a good sampling on the sizing. Thanks. How about you mobile9, how did you size the Universe compared to your other shoes?
If were to get a pair of Wave Riders, I'd get a 9.5; same for the Universe.

The bottoms look like the old Kaze 2 with a brand new lighter upper.

Kaze: 12mm heel/forefoot drop. Too much for me, I'll stick with the Fila flats.
How can you tell the amount of drop from the pic ? by the weight/style of shoe ?
better look
why is this a "support" shoe?

Maybe the Mizuno guys are smart enough to understand the a shoe that low with hardly any lift from heel to toe will be an incredibly stable ride.

This worries me, I think I'll stick with my Adizero PRs...they are 3.9 ounces and I have already put close to 100 miles on them with no signs of wear....By far my favorite shoes ever. I plan on wearing them for XC...I DONT CARE THAT THEY ARE ROAD FLATS :)
Same here
I have a few in stock if you want to order over the net. 360 degree views of the shoe available on the link as well.

Yeah, but they are a little late arriving so not on the site yet. We just got a boatload of Nike boxes in today. I'll let you know if they are in there. If not, should be soon.
Joe

there is also a white version
full retail will be ~$125
large view:
i had a shot of the white version posted elsewhere, but it doesn't appear now...it's white where this one is black with red stitching highlights and a bit of greay trim and the top of the midsole looks gold instead of red
Do you have sizes 10 and 10.5?
P.S. Is Ron Rubio (from Memphis) your dad?
