Yes, Sanders is coming back for his senior year. He wasn't around for track because he spent his spring semester abroad.

RFXCrunner should be banned from this site.... Who's with me?
Yes, please.
Perhaps we should also include Phillips in this list...you know second indoors at 5k, auto qualifier in the 10k, returning AA
steeple is totally different from cross country. I doubt he could hang with all the strong 5k/10k guys in the region over a five mile course. He didnt even run xc last season. Anyone know why?
probably injured... i believe he ran once early in the season
I believe he arrived at the school starting the Spring semester or some such- wasn't there for the Fall, and thus didn't run.
I would disagree. Kosgei ran a 48:36 15K Boilermaker with sweatpants on. The course is very hilly and it was extremely hot. His 10K split was 31:50 en route to the 15K. His 10K pace would put him at a 25:28 for the 8K and I would think that he could push the pace even faster if he was running an 8K. If he indeed runs cross country, I think that it would be safe to assume that he could be one of the top runners in the Atlantic Region.

I knew I was forgetting somebody.
Replace Donohoe with Phillips and move Donohoe down to the wildcards.
Fredonia will be WAY better than 19th in the Region this year. Forma is in his last XC season, and the rumor in WNY is it's the best recruiting class in the region. Seriously, look at their new additions when it goes up on their site this fall. They're gonna be good for awhile.
NYU is going to be tough to beat seeing as regionals is at VCP this year, and I for one being in my third yr. of Atlantic D3 have never once run there and I hear its a b!tch
top runners in this region:
Stevens, Hany, the other NYU guy (They are interchangable and i don't care enough to research which was the #2 or 3), kosgei who just ran 48 minutes in the boilermaker, shamus but he'll get outkicked by everyone and probably won't be top 5 and i wouldn't be surprised to see dubois up there, lockett who had a poor track season but runs cross rather tough, donahoe, kopnicki - stopping here cause honestly after my first five names it could be anyone but those five are all possible winners
Everyone is dreaming if they think there will be a team upset this year outside of the expected top four of cortland, nyu, geneseo and jersey - recruiting classes are too strong and depth is too much to overcome for the other squads
VCP is a HUGE bitch. The hills/flats mix totally throws off any sense of rhythm or pacing. I hear NYU is making some sort of custom course for Regionals..not to say it's going to be any easier, though.
yes my boy col. sanders will be back to kick some butt, watch out for vassar making a run at top 5 teams.
and you sir are an idiot, it does not take much to name the "other" nyu guys, if your a Atl. Reg. guy or a d3 guy for that matter, you should probably know the name of a guy who was 13th in xc, and 2nd indoor 5k, and another who was AA in XC, indoor and outdoor and ran 1427.
Abdallah 1412
Phillips 1426/ 3006
Williams 4:11/ 1427
Anyone who follows D3 knows their names. Stevens (see i can use his name) will need to get healthy and stay healthy to be up front.
good luck to NYU, go CW Post.
Correct me if I am wrong, but Nally was able to outkick a number of FAST milers during cross country this pasty season, among them Matt Deshane and Will Leer - what makes you say he's going to get outkicked?

Nally ran great at NCAA's in XC, but to say he outkicked anyone would be...
NO one was kicking, it was a endurance test to survive the mud, his strength paid off.
is it that difficult to check last years results? nally finished 2 spots behind leer, who blew by him (and the rest of the people he was running with) in the final 150m.
not to bash nally at all, but please do a bit of fact checking before making claims like that.
In response to the custom course an Vanny for the atlantic regionals, it is my understanding, that they are using the same 2k loop used for USATF XC two years ago. This would mean 4 loops of the fields and front trails not including cemetrary hill. I do not think it went into the back trials but I could be mistaken.
No way NYU can lose in the Atlantic unless two top guys are out. Even then they would probably still win.
Watch out for Bryan Murphy of RPI, rumor has it hes gonna have a break out year...
That's a shame if they use the USATF course over the classic one. It would make it a real pussy course.
