I think Goucher's season is over, and he should have wrapped it up a month ago. He was clearly in better than 28:00 shape when he ran his 13:10 in the heat, and frankly, his 13:15 was a better race in that he was on PR pace until just about the very end. His 8:13 two-mile in Oregon had pointed to much greater things (look what it foretold for both Teg and Lincoln), but he is overraced. Hell, the guy has been in great shape since January. Salazar just has them in too good of shape too early. Rupp is the same way.
