Why does letsrun attract a number of people who don't run at all?

Some people ran in the community races and still had time to get to the party. Some went to the party and ran in the races that were held on Sunday.

Almost certainly that same poster who made this thread. His rationale was everyone would respect him as a coach if they were runners. Of course, that poster is crazy.

You missed the second part of OP's post.
